How to Make a Reservation
In order to keep the personal touch we pride our
self on, we ask that you contact us direct at (205)
612-9181 to make your reservation. Reservations can
be made between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm CST
(9:00am-9:00 pm Eastern). Nightly room rates are for
single or double occupancy. If you are bringing a
pet, there is a $100 per night charge for each pet.
There is a three night minimum stay during holiday
periods and special events.
Taxes
A 4% lodging/room occupancy tax & 7% food &
beverage charge will be added to your final bill.
Amenities
Large screen HDTV’s can be found in both the
Great Room and The Castle. Each of these public
rooms is available to our guests. DVD players, VHS
player and surround sound is also available. Current
video selections will also be made available to our
over night guests. The video library will be made
available for your convenience until 9:00pm.
A large 60 foot long, 10 foot deep, 55,000 gal pool
will be made available to our over night guests
during the months of April through September. Pool
hours are from 8:00am to 10:00pm. Swimming is always
at your own risk.
Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out is 11:30am.
In keeping with the tranquil setting, there are no
televisions or phones in guest rooms. Chateau Toots
is a smoke free & alcohol free Bed & Breakfast.
Children
As a gentle reminder, Chateau Toots is an adult
property and children above the age of 15 are
welcome, provided they are accompanied by a parent
or guardian. Poor behavior & lack of manners will
not be tolerated. Destruction of property
(intentional or not) will result in full replacement
charges, which will be due immediately.
Pet Policy
Here at Chateau Toots we understand how
wonderful it is to share a vacation with your canine
companion. Pet lovers ourselves, we understand,
especially in unfamiliar settings, dogs will be
dogs, despite an historical track record of
exemplary behavior. We therefore happily allow you
to share with your pet the comfort of our home,
provided they adhere to the following conditions:

All pets incur a $100 per pet, per night
charge. They will receive a dog bed, bowls for
food and water, morning and nightly treats and a
special welcome gift.

All pets must be on a leash and owners must
clean up after them. Pets are only allowed in
common areas when on a leash. Pets are not
allowed on the furniture or bedding. No
exception to this rule. Pet owners will be fined
$50 per occurrence.

When left in your room alone, your pet
“must” be crated. A crate will be provided to
you at a rate of $25 per night, should you come
without one. Should you choose not to crate your
pet, a fenced in private area, will be made
available for your canine companion. Please keep
in mind that your companion may have to share
this space with our loving Cockapoo “Toots” &
our new addition Beulah the Golden Retriever.

In addition to the nightly charge, a $200
per pet security deposit is required upon
arrival. This deposit is refundable at the time
of departure barring any property damage,
accidents, noise complaints, or disobedience of
our leash rule. Should your pet damage an item
of Chateau Toots, you will be charged full
replacement value. Chronic disturbance issues
may result in our requiring you to take your
pet(s) to a local kennel.
Deposits
To confirm a reservation of one night, a 100%
deposit (including taxes and service charge) is
required at the time of booking. To confirm a
reservation of two or more nights, a 50% deposit
(including taxes and service charge) is required at
the time of booking with the remaining deposit due
60 days prior to your arrival. If your remaining
deposit has not been received by that date, your
reservation will be cancelled and the deposit
forfeited because we will have turned away many
other potential guests. If there are fewer then 60
days remaining before your visit, the full 100%
deposit (including taxes and service charge) is
required at the time of booking.
Cancellations
Since we are a small company, cancellations
affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation
gives us little chance of filling the space due to
our select clientele. For these reasons, we uphold a
strict cancellation policy. If a cancellation is
made 60 days or more prior to your arrival date, you
may elect to either receive a refund of your deposit
less a $100 handling fee, or apply the entire amount
of your deposit towards a future stay within 12
months of your original reservation date. Pricing
will change depending on the Season and special
local events. If a cancellation is made less then 60
days prior to your arrival date, “no refund” will be
possible regardless of the reason. Should it be
necessary for you to depart earlier than your
confirmed reservation dates, you will be responsible
for all of the original room nights booked from your
intended stay. |
